Sketch Comedy Class
The Comedy Arena's Sketch Classes are fun, supportive way to learn about the sketch comedy world, learn how shows like SNL and other sketch shows on TV make it all happen, also you will meet new people to laugh with.
All classes meet once per week for 7 weeks followed by a student showcase. While enrolled, students can see Comedy Arena shows for FREE.
PRE-REQ: Intro to Stand Up Comedy Class
Comedy Sketch Writers Room
Students work together in a writers' room style set-up to create a "best of" sketch show. Students will learn to collaborate with others on sketches, practice giving and receiving feedback, and practice writing various types of sketches. Students will begin to learn the logistics of putting together a sketch show, such as planning run order and transitions.
All classes meet once per week for 7 weeks followed by a showcase. While enrolled, students can see Comedy Arena shows for FREE. PRE-REQ: Some sort of intro to sketch class at The Comedy Arena or other venue.
